Call-out fee confirmed before we set off.

The Emergency Electricians charge a single call-out fee, confirmed on the phone before anyone is dispatched, then a fixed quote before any repair work. No hidden fees, no surprises. Call 07703 295654 and you will have the real number in front of you before you decide.

Send us a photo of the problem and we’ll tell you what’s wrong before we arrive.

Before we set off

You get the callout fee and the hourly rate on the phone, up front. No charge you weren’t told about first.

How does the call-out fee work?

When you call, an electrician assesses what you describe and tells you the call-out fee for your postcode and the time of day. Only when you accept it do we set off. The fee exists because reaching you urgently at 3am costs real time and fuel, and it is the only part of the price that is not quoted in advance of work.

The fee covers travel to your property, a full assessment of the fault and making the installation safe. For many callouts, making safe and a small repair happen in the same visit.

What will it cost?

We do not publish a rate card, because a fair price depends on the fault, the time of day and where you are. One short phone call and you will have the exact figure, from the electrician who is coming out, before you commit to anything.

DAYTIME · MON TO FRI, 8AM TO 6PM
Standard call-out fee, confirmed on the phone before we set off.
EVENINGS · NIGHTS · WEEKENDS · BANK HOLIDAYS
Out-of-hours call-out fee, confirmed on the phone before we set off.

What happens after the assessment?

Once we know what is wrong, you get a fixed quote for the repair before any work starts. You approve it first, every time. If the sensible answer is a planned visit in daylight rather than a night repair, we will tell you that too.

How can you pay?

Card, bank transfer or cash on the night. Landlords and businesses can be invoiced to an account. You always get a receipt and a written record of the work.

Pricing questions, answered straight

Do you charge to quote?

No. The call-out fee covers getting an electrician to you and finding the fault. Once we know what is wrong, the quote for the repair itself is free and fixed. You approve it before we do anything more.

What if it’s a five-minute fix?

Then you pay the call-out fee and very little else, and we will say so honestly. If a tripped switch just needed resetting we will show you what happened and how to handle it if it happens again.

Do landlords get invoices for their records?

Yes. Every landlord and business job comes with a proper invoice and a written summary of what we found and fixed, ready for your compliance records. See our landlords and commercial page for account setup.
